FortyFive Degrees officially opened on June 7, 2008.

FortyFive Degrees in 2008 brought an all-new mix of style and cuisine to a then-sleepy Massachusetts Avenue scene. Since that time, as the avenue has exploded with culinary and entertainment options, this modern and elegant yet friendly and accessible mainstay has evolved with the times.

Known throughout the city for both amazing sushi and chef-inspired entrees, FortyFive Degrees offers stylish and plentiful seating in both our bar and our main dining area, including an outdoor patio that wraps around the 45-degree angle where Mass Ave and College Avenue intersect.

Whether you’re alone or with a group, having a business meeting or looking for a night out, you’ll enjoy our delicious food, modern vibe and welcoming environment.

One of the items we’re most proud of can’t be ordered off the menu. Our Community Impact resulting from a loyal customer base and responsible stewardship of our time and resources has led to $300,000.00 and countless hours given to local non-profits over the years.
